The Downtown Edmond Arts Festival was honored with the prestigious Red Bud Award at the 2003 Oklahoma Governor's Tourism Conference. This award honors the Outstanding Event of the Year.

Edmond citizens and tourists enjoy this festival by strolling on Broadway to view and purchase art, relax and listen to live entertainment, shop the downtown stores, and eat delicious foods. This is a true family event including a wonderful children's area and much, much more.

The festival begins at Second Street and Broadway and continues north for 3 blocks.

With over 100 artists from many states, including Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and Kansas, you will find there is something for everyone. Fine Art, pottery, jewelry, metal art, furniture, photography and unique sculptures.

The food is "award winning" as well, with Indian Tacos, Catfish, BBQ, Cotton Candy, Kettle Corn, Corn Dogs, ice cream and the list goes on and on. There are plenty of table and chairs with lots of shade.

Edmond Jazz and Blues Festival is held in the Downtown Edmond Area each Memorial Day weekend at Stephenson Park. Thousand of locals and tourist gather to enjoy a weekend of great music with a party atmosphere. Some of the Jazz and Blues greats perform during this music filled weekend.
