Downtown Edmond
     - A Destination Like no Other

The relationship between downtown and the surrounding community is cultivated through the Downtown Edmond Business Association (DEBA). DEBA sponsors several community events and activities each year that cater to the needs of both the businesses and the citizens that thrive on the downtown area.

DEBA is proud to decorate the core downtown area for Fall and the Christmas Season. Hay bales, pumpkins, brightly colored mums and a few friendly scarecrows delight visitors and watch over the major intersections in late September through October. Then the association places thousands of lights in the trees that line Broadway beginning at Second Street, the lampposts are wrapped in lights and topped off with a holiday wreath and the merchants decorate their buildings to create a Hometown Holiday Shopping and Dining atmosphere for the entire family to enjoy.

The increasing interest in Downtown Edmond's new Streetscape has added new sidewalks, lamp posts, trees and shrubs. You will walk into a downtown that has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful new sculptured art that grace our downtown area.
